Bryan Odegard

Chief Operating Officer

Bryan is the Chief Operating Officer for Benmedica and has responsibility for Sales/Marketing, Clinical, Technology, Product, and Professional Services. He has 25+ years of experience leading several operational, strategy, product, and execution functions as a management consultant and executive leader.

Bryan transforms company strategies into high-value operational products and services through innovative thought, comprehensive planning, and relentless execution. An expert in the payer and PBM markets, his experiences are deep including government product launches, product strategy and management, remediation, compliance, PBM acquisitions and mergers, PBM technology, pharmacogenomics, population health and data analytics. Bryan has had P&L responsibilities for a SaaS technology company servicing PBM customers as well as responsibilities for product strategy and management for a mid-market PBM.

With substantial years in the healthcare, financial, and professional services industries, he has a remarkable track record of providing inspiring solutions to some of the healthcare industry’s biggest problems. Bryan has successfully delivered results as an executive, product strategist, program manager, program director, technology leader, and operations leader for organizations including Elixir Solutions and Anthem, HealthPartners, Blue Cross Blue Shield Michigan, Blue Cross Idaho, CareMore, Prime Therapeutics, Accredo Health, WellDyneRx, Express Scripts, and CVS Health.

He holds an MBA from the University of St. Thomas, a BA in Investment Finance from Metropolitan State University, and is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), and Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO). In addition, Bryan devotes much of his personal time to volunteer efforts on behalf of globalH20pe, a non-profit water ministry in northern Haiti which he co-founded.
